Farid Zakeri | Concert Master of Lenio Orchestra
Farid Zakeri is a violinist and instructor with a degree in classical performance from the University of Culture and Art, currently pursuing his Master’s in Music. Since beginning his professional career in 2009, he has performed with major national ensembles such as the Tehran National Symphony Orchestra and the IRIB Orchestra. He is a member of the Iranian House of Music and has appeared in festivals like Fajr, Javan, and Shams.
Zakeri has served as second violin concertmaster in orchestras including Navaye Aftab (led by Amin Salemi) and Tenart (conducted by Granmehr). His collaborations extend to many other ensembles and conductors, with experience in both live performance and studio recording. He has also worked with prominent artists like Garsha Rezaei, Mohsen Ebrahimzadeh, Salar Aghili, Parvaz Homay, Master Mokhtabad, and Master Seraj, and has participated in projects such as the orchestral rock concert of Zenoon Band.
In addition to performing, Zakeri has been teaching violin since 2016 at institutions like Zeytoon Music Academy, Sattari Institute, Erfan, Naghmeh Mehr, and Saam. He has enriched his expertise through masterclasses with maestros including Rahim Salehpour, Ali Salehipour, Ebrahim Lotfi, Amin Ghaffari, Dariush Hejazi, Nader Mashaiekhi, and Golriz Zarbakhsh.
