Hosein Moharami – Music Educator, Composer, and Choir & Orchestra Conductor

Hosein Moharami is an accomplished musician active in teaching, composition, and choir/orchestra conducting. He holds a classical piano degree from the University of Art and Culture and directs Avaye Niyayesh Music Academy. He has served as an assistant professor at Music University, Unit 46, and holds a teaching certificate from the Iranian House of Music.

He teaches a wide range of subjects, including harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, general piano, solfège, ear training, choral singing, and musical form. As a conductor, he has led performances at the Fajr Music Festival and various prominent venues in Tehran, such as Niavaran Cultural Center and Arasbaran Hall. His book 10 Iranian Folk Tunes for Piano and a third-place award in the National Youth Music Festival highlight his contributions to Iranian music.

Moharami has trained under respected musicians like Philippe Lehmann, Nasir Heidarian, and Reza Taheri in composition, conducting, and piano, and studied solfège and classical singing with figures such as Mehdi Ghasemi. With extensive experience across performance and education, he continues to pursue his mission of inspiring and educating the next generation of musicians.
